The Hermeticists of old taught that everything vibrates. Two-thousand years ago, this must have sounded bizarre. Today, it is orthodox science. Hermeticism is an ancient philosophical, religious system based on the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus. Hermeticism is a collection of esoteric teachings reserved for the initiated and revealed through divine revelation. Hermes Trismegistus means Hermes thrice great, Hermes being a Greek god of communications or messenger of the gods. According to Wikipedia, Hermeticism developed over centuries, approximately 300 BCE to 1200 CE. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermeticism). 

Everything vibrates. This clearly implies that everything is a manifestation of energy. Let’s further assume that electricity is the most pervasive form of energy. (For more information, search for “plasma cosmology” or “the electric universe.”) Electricity is an interplay of positive and negative forces—electrons and positrons. Electrical flow also creates magnetic fields or auras. Within these magnetic fields are subatomic particles such as positrons, protons, neutrons, and electrons, which are little bundles of energy separated by vast spaces. Nothing is really solid. 

If all of this is true, then human beings are electric, consisting of an interplay of magnetic fields. The ascended masters tell us that we consist of four lower bodies: memory body, mental body, emotional body, and physical body. For a healthy person, these four lower bodies are perfectly aligned and act as an integrated unit. Perhaps you have heard the statement, “She was beside herself with anger.” This probably refers to a state where the emotional body is out of alignment. You can think of these lower bodies as electromagnetic fields. It is my belief that in the book of Genesis, these magnetic fields are referred to as “coats of skin” (Genesis 3:21). In the book of Revelation (most versions), they are referred to as robes. “Blessed are those who wash their robes” (Revelation 22:14). So, what does it mean to wash our robes? Let’s refer to this process as spiritual alchemy. Traditionally, alchemy is considered to be a medieval discipline that tried to transmute base metals into gold. We are trying to transmute our human misqualifications (lead) into spiritual gold.  

Spiritual alchemy is an act of creation. Since we are created in the image of God, and God is a creator, then we are also creators. Every thought and image is a creation. One of our goals should be to become better creators. Three basic steps in creation are listed below: 

1. Create and sustain an image in your mind. 

2. Make the image as specific and stable as possible. 

3. Fill the image with the power of sound. 

Spiritual alchemy is made possible by progressive revelation. One of the revelations given to us in this age by the ascended masters is the violet flame. Ascended masters are our elder brothers and sisters who have graduated from earth’s schoolroom. Catholics call them saints; Buddhists call them arhats.  

As you may recall, colors are determined by frequency. According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violet_light), violet light is at the higher end of the visible spectrum, with a wave length of 380-450 nanometers. The higher the wavelength, the higher the energy content. So, violet light is a high frequency magnetic field that has remarkable properties. It has the ability to disinfect—to cleanse. Ultraviolet light is often used to kill bacteria and other pathogens (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultraviolet_germicidal_irradiation#). It is safe and effective. 

As previously stated, we are an interplay of magnetic fields. These fields have a large influence on our atomic and subatomic structures—our bodies. Over the years, misqualified substance can accumulate between atomic particles in our auras or “robes.” Spiritual alchemy using the violet flame can cleanse and purify the misqualified substance. None of this is sacrilegious or unscientific. 

You can experiment with the violet flame by yourself or with a group. Group sessions can increase the efficacy of the violet flame. Try the following: 

1. Create an image in your mind of a large, violet flame campfire. 

2. Imagine yourself in the middle of the violet flame (it won’t hurt you). 

3. Speak the following decree with confidence and conviction: 

I AM a being of violet fire, I AM the purity God desires. 

Repeat it over and over and establish a rhythm. Concentrate on maintaining the image of a violet flame. Try it for five minutes. You can extend the time as you become more comfortable with it. Violet flame sessions are like any other discipline—the more you practice, the better the results. The violet flame is a dispensation given to us by the Holy Spirit and the ascended masters. Use it with respect and reverence. We need it now more than ever.
